Along with the amazing line-up at FunFunFun Fest there was MGMT. I'm not really good at classifying music so I will just put it into the category of "Good."--sounds about right. MGMT is Andrew Vanwyngarden(guitar and singer) and Ben Goldwasser (keyboards); two undergraduates at Wesleyan University in 2002 who began playing music together without the intentions of going anywhere with it. Their music caught the attention of some NYU students, who created the independent Cantora label to release MGMT's EP, Time to Pretend. The band has just released their full length album in October. So I suggest you spend your money on something worth while, put the Xmas gift buying on hold. While you save that money, check out the song "Kids"--the video will let you know the name. I personally feel it is the most visually stimulating video of the year, and the song is great. Enjoy. Peace.
